Trek Summary

Adi Kailash (Popularly known as Chota Kailash) is a replica of the better-known Mt. Kailash in Tibet, especially in appearance. Hindu mythology considers it a Panch Kailash. Hindus revere Om Parvat and Adi Kailash.

Just seeing it can enlighten and cleanse you. People believe the cosmic energy here can change them.At Nabidhang, you can see “Aum Parvat” or “Om Parvat”, a miracle of nature; snow lies in the mountain in the shape of a perpetual “Aum”, the primordial sound.

All other slopes may be bare, but this snow writing is permanent, and one feels like the mountain is Lord Shiv incarnate—the destroyer—showing himself in a rare glance.
