Itinerary Dayara bugyal trek
Day 1: Reach Raithal from Dehradun
The Dayara Bugyal odyssey starts in the Uttarakhand hills. Around 7:30 in the morning (tentative), everyone meets at the agreed-upon meeting place, usually the Dehradun railway station. Dayara Bugyal’s base camp, Raithal, is the first stop. When the group reaches Raithal, check it and rest. It takes about seven hours to complete this trip of about 180 kilometers.
Day 2: Trek via Gui from Raithal to Chelapada
On the second day, the real walk begins. The hike up Chelapada starts after breakfast at the crack of dawn. The trail is a visual delight, lined with beautiful scenery and oak forests. When everyone gets to Chelapada, they set up camp and have lunch.
The rest of the day is at your leisure; hikers should consider going for an acclimatization walk. Preparation for the following day’s anticipated snowy views of Dayara Bugyal begins with supper and an overnight camp stay. It takes 6 hours to complete this 8-kilometer journey.
Day 3: Dayara Bugyal to Chelapada | Chelapada Back
Stunning views of Bandarpoonch, Black Peak, Draupadi ka Danda, and more await you at the Dayara Bugyal viewpoint, which you will reach after an early morning breakfast. Before returning to the Chelapada campsite, have lunch at the Dayara Bugyal Top. You will stay at the camp that night. The 12 km will take you 9 hours to finish.
Day 4: Trek from Chelapada to Raithal and then Drive to Dehradun
Everyone packs up their tents and heads downhill to Raithal Village on this day. It takes six hours and eight kilometers. The return trip to Dehradun via Uttarkashi passes through some beautiful mountain villages. Then, you finally reached Dehradun.
